SERVING ON THE TOWN COUNCIL SINCE 2019:

  • Chaired the Solid Waste Committee
  • Currently serve on the Personnel and Sustainibility Committees
  • Served on the Ordinance Committee
  • Currently the iaison to Cheshire Housing Authority, Town Beautification Committee, and Fair Rent Commission
  • Worked to deliver balanced budgets since 2020
  • Assisted neighbors in the 3rd District after a storm in 2022 knocked out power for several days and needed help getting power restored
  • Served on the School Modernization Committee to work on a plan to upgrade our school facilities in an affordable way and manageable way
  • Assisted with the reopening of Mixville Park (free to Cheshire residents) after it was closed during the pandemic
  • Approved the building of the new and improved Bartlem Park
  • Approved the building of 2 new schools referendum
  • Approved Pickle Ball courts and lighting at Cheshire Park
  • Approved the master plan for improvements to Mixville Park
  • Brought back the Bulky trash pick up
  • Worked with the BOE to start a Food Waste Recycling Pilot program at Chapman School beginning in 2024

ABOUT ME

  • Owner of DW Gem Services, LLC, a small jewelry business located in Cheshire since 2019
  • Founder and president of Cheshire’s Lights of Hope, a charity to assist Cheshire residents that has raised over $1.2 million since 2005
  • Served on Cheshire’s Planning and Zoning Commission 2018-2019
  • Team Jenifer: Captain of MS Walk Team-1999-Present. Chairperson for an Annual Beer Tasting Benefit- Raising over $425,000 since 1999
  • New Haven Gridiron Club-Past President/Board Member-1983-2000
  • St. Bridget’s School-School Board Member-2014-2016
