I am thrilled to be running for Town Council, 2nd District on November 2nd. It would be an honor to represent my district and if elected, I will serve my constituents with integrity, commitment and never take for granted the incredible community that we live in.

I have lived in Cheshire since 2013, and have been a Connecticut resident for over 20 years. I am originally from the South Shore of Long Island and was drawn to Cheshire for its hometown pride, incredible schools, safe community and fiscally responsible town management. I am the Founder of NMD Career Consulting, LLC, a private career consulting practice and a Board-Certified Career Coach and Career Counselor. My husband and I have one son entering 6th grade at Chapman Elementary School.

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance with a double Major in French from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a Master’s degree in Counseling with a Concentration in Student Development in Higher Education from Central Connecticut State University. I have served as the Street Captain for Cheshire Lights of Hope for the past 7 years and have been a small business owner in town for the past 4 years.

I am a fiscal conservative, support school modernization and look forward to bipartisan decision making serving the best interests of our community. I believe our town is incredible, and we can work together to bring more business to our community and make sound decisions to enhance public safety while supporting the infrastructure and services to secure it. I look forward to the opportunity to represent my constituents and ensure our town continues to thrive and develop.
