Andrew Martelli

Andrew was the Senior Project Manager for the Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC), the City of Waterbury’s Economic and Community Development entity for over ten years. While with the WDC, Andrew directed historic rehabilitation projects, new school construction, environmental remediation, municipal building renovations, and park improvements. After the WDC, he was the director of remediation services for Charter Oak Environmental Services. Currently he oversees the construction of affordable housing for NeighborWorks New Horizons along the shoreline and Central Connecticut. Locally, Andrew has been a Commissioner for the Town of Cheshire’s Town Center and Brookvale Historic Districts. He was elected to the Town of Cheshire’s Board of Education in 2019 and is the chair of that Board’s Planning Committee and a member of the School Modernization Committee. He attended both Central Connecticut State University, where he studied Construction Management, and The University of Connecticut, where he received his bachelor’s in Urban & Community Studies.
